I started with an electric 1800 PSI model after advise from a friend of mine. However I felt it had not enough power to do the job so I returned it and bought the Karcher G2600VH at Sam's club[...]. It came already assembled. At home I filled in the oil and gas, connected the hoses, inserted the nozzle, turned the water on and fired the engine up. It ran after the second kick. I gave it a try washing my 2 year old driveway. With the electric model I used the included dirt nozzle for one area. With the gas model I used the 25 degree nozzle. It cleaned much easier and quicker. The wand is higher quality as well. I did not try the SoapPacs yet. Will use those Saturday when washing my cars, patio furniture and lanai. So far very good impression and I can recommend this product.
Don't let the other poor reviews listed here fool you. The complaints are valid, but they deal exclusively with Karcher's response to the writers' issues. The complaints don't deal with the unit itself.
I just bought one, assembled it, and it runs and works flawlessly. I used other pressure washers, both gas and electric, and I'm very impressed with the quality of this unit.
